Cream is offered with the coffee and sugar should be available at the table. The meal is finished with a slice of pound cake and coffee (optional). With a buttered garlic potato halve and buttered corn on the cob. Then comes the baked chicken once the 'feast' is announced to commence. Otherwise it'll be a piece of buttered garlic toast and tomato bisque soup. They may have an alternate menu for that purpose only. For the food, the server will ask about any food allergies before hand. You pay up front for happy drinks, and they do accept credit cards or cash. Pepsi, unsweetened ice tea, water, and lemonade are offered by you the wait staff, and bartender will come by for the happy drink orders. Your server will come by once everyone has settled in and go over the Bill of Fare (menu) and drinks selection (non-alcohol). Once they announce the introductions and safety announcements, they begin allowing VIP to enter first by colors, then regular tickets by colors. There is a mini torture chamber museum at the left side upon entering the main hall as well. Bars with draft beers and mixed drinks are on either side of the main hall for a price. You then go to the main hall (outside the arena) where you can buy souvenirs for the little ones in age or in heart. After you'll take a picture with one of the staff dressed up with option to purchase later. ![]() You then go to which ever side has your color to receive your paper colored crown. So with the disclaimer out of the way, just enjoy the show and cheer your knight! You start out getting your ticket or table number and knights color. Made to look real, but safety is a primary drive, so it is acting. If you come here expecting real hits and jousting, you'll be disappointed. And thank you Medieval Times for giving my daughter a totally unexpected and wonderful experience, as well as my entire family. The Knight lifted her into the air and waved with her to the crowd, and that little girl beamed. ![]() I was extremely happy as a father for my daughter to be picked by the winning Knight on Saturday August 5th's 5pm show (so he gets credit for being awesome) to be the "Queen of Love and Beauty" where she was crowned by the Princess and given a sash. Our Knight won (out of the 4 times I've been, I've seen 4 different Knights win). My wife and two boys saw it again for the second and third time. My grandma, mom, dad, and 4 year old daughter saw this show for the first time on Saturday. The show is really great, especially compared to pretty much any other kind of show that is comparable. The food is great, especially considering the options they have to serve in a dinner show like this. The other 4 sections are also great, and have their merits, but I would say that they also have slight disadvantages in the "view" department. ![]() However, if you purchase the King's Royalty Package, and you're able to sit in either the Red/Yellow or White/Black section then you will have an amazing view of the show. No matter what seat you purchase, you will have a good view of everything going on, and you will still get excellent service. So even if you purchase the King's Royalty Package online where you get the 1st or 2nd row guaranteed the section you're in is still dependent on when you get there. It's at least my belief that they hand out the best seats first in whatever package you've purchased. (Example 5pm show opens the doors at 3:45 so you should arrive at 3:30) The reason you should do this is because they are still first come, first serve. Whether you purchase online or not, you still should arrive at least 15 minutes before the time they say they're going to open the door. I understand generally why they do not do this, but it's the only thing that crosses my mind negatively when I think of them. My only complaint is that I wish a customer could choose their specific seat online. ![]() Honestly, I can only name one complaint about Medieval Times, and I would say that everything else about this place makes up for that complaint 10-fold to the point where I can still give them 5 stars.
